After Rocky, Colt and Tum Tum save Joe's dad from the warehouse he was being kept in, Rocky, Colt and Tum Tum all go home to there beds and go to sleep. When there Grandpa comes to check on them, We see Tum Tum eating chicken with face paint all over his face. Then his grandpa turns the light off for a second and then turns it on. Magically all of Tum Tum's face paint is gone
This was done purposely. If his grandfather had seen the face paint he would have asked questions about what the boys were doing and grandpa wouldn't be too happy if he knew what they had been up to. Obviously tum tum couldn't have possibly taken it off that fast but it's a kid's movie and a lot of the stuff in that movie is very unlikely. It wasn't a slip up.
