In the end of the movie when Lee and Carter are in the hotel room, Ricky Tan, grabs the gun and shoots the carpet in front of Carter. If you look the bullet hole is where carters heart is, but he comes out unhurt, Weird huh?
If you watch the movie again, you will notice that the money Chris Tucker took from the casino stops the bullet from getting to his heart. He kisses the money! This is not a blooper.
The reason the hole was by Carter's heart is because in the previous scene, Carter is fighting that Chinese chick and she stabs him with a sword and he didn't die or get hurt because the money in his inside pocket of his coat stopped it.
Tell me something, when carter gets stabbed he takes the wad of money out of his pocket, but then again tell me how 100 newly printed bills can block a bullet? must be super money!
Alright, First of all
1) THE BULLET DOES NOT GET BLOCKED BY THE MONEY, the sword that the chick stabbed Chris with when they are fighting gets blocked by the money! The bullet just misses him, It looks like he gets hit but he doesnt. Alright?
Have you people even seen this movie? Watch very closely. When Carter is fighting the Chinese Chick in the casino - she stabs him in the chest with her sword. But the money in his pocket protects him. This is when he kisses the money, right before he tells the now-dead Chinese Chick that they could have had something special.
Later when Lee is fighting Ricky Tan, Ricky shoots at the carpet which is being held up by Carter. You can clearly see (and even imagine how easy it would be to miss - even at close range through a carpet) The bullet which is fired by Ricky Tan does not hit Carter, or go anywhere near him. The money in Carters pocket does not stop any bullet, and neither does the carpet. I'd have to agree with Mnky and Jake on this one. But the rest of you should carefully watch the movie (and the sequence of events) before posting comments.
Guys, please, watch the movie carefully before posting comments! Its the sword that gets blocked by the money. NOT the bullet. The bullet does look like it could hit Tucker but obviously misses.
The money has nothing to do with this scene.
