When the mayor's wife (miss Millie) confronts Sophia (Oprah Winfrey)about being her maid, (yadayadayada), the mayor jumps in her face for saying "Hell No" and she hits him. She is then surrounded and the sheriff knocks her out cold with his gun...If you look closely, she is laying out cold but the wind blows her dress up and she is conscious enough to pull it back down then she's unconscious again.
