During one of the scenes where there are planes seen flying over a large white cross, you should notice that the cross doesn't belong there, because it was built as a memorial for the people that died during the attack on Pearl Harbor. So, therefore, how can a movie based on the events leading up to the attack have memorials for something that didn't happen yet?
When the character Martin Balsam plays is flying into Pearl, he's conversing with a fellow officer (Marshall?) about security misgivings, yet the camera angle is from outside the plane and there are no windows in it! I can't recall any metal-fuselage planes that had no windows, especially any that would traverse the Pacific.
