The part where Harry and Lloyd are at the restaraunt, after they got done making fun of the name "Flo", Lloyd asks the waitress what 'soup de joir' is, and she says "it is the soup of the day", and Lloyd says "That sounds good, I think we'll have that." Then it shows them eating a burger and fries. Okay, what happened to the soup?
Most restaurants serve the soup first. When the real food comes out, the waiter or waitress will take away the soup bowl. That is why you only see the burger basket.
