Blues Brothers ( Original ) - Locking the Brakes
I've seen this movie more than thirty times but didn't notice this until I was given a copy on video. Elwood decides to demonstrate the merits of the "new" Bluesmobile by jumping the drawbridge. In the very last frames before they actually hit the bridge you can see the brakes lock on the right rear wheel. Not what you'd want to do if you were trying to get maximum speed in order to fly a 5,000 pound Monaco across an open drawbridge.

Definately a slip-up on film, however the brakes locked because it was to actually fall into a net located just below the camera line. The stuntmen were instructed to brake immediately in order to get the car to flip right-side up under the bridge. You'll also notice that the bridge has a gap from the concrete to the actual bridge that no car under ANY circumstances would be able to drive over. And finally, you'll also notice the bridge is about as high as it can get before they approach it and when they are airborne you'll notice the bridge only half-way down and then as they land on the other side the bridge is fully erect again.
