In some scenes, he has his jersey (#99 Jack) on, and in others he has Pete's (#9 "C" on the front). Also, watch the way he holds the stick. When he is on the pond in the Forest, he is shooting the puck with a left handed stick, but when he plays his first game (and every so often in the Harvest Cup game) his stick is right handed.
