In the episode, "The Rise and Fall of Sam," Sam is standing on the beach before he goes surfing for the first time with the guys (towards the end of the episode). Before he enters the water, he has a flashback of all the taunts Otto and Twister made against him when he was riding a "sponge" earlier. During one of the flashbacks, Sam's pupils disappear, then reappear after the flashback changes.
