The soldier is talking on a military radio which is mounted in a HUMMVEE. Everything is accurate including being able to hear both sides of the communications. The soldier walks to the back of the HUMMVEE after the conversation, and you can see the antenna mount or matching Unit with no antenna attached. No antenna, no communication!
