Bridge Too Far, A - Traffic Lights
After one hour and a half the British Thirty Corps takes the Grave bridge. At the time the tanks roll over the bridge, you can see a traffic-light in the base of the screen.
After two hours the Grenadier Guards capture the Nijmegen bridge. In the background you can see several traffic-lights.
Although traffic-lights existed in the Second World War, I think they wouldn't have worked after more than four years of occupation by the Germans.

Traffic lights were used in Europe during the war. It was no difference if the allied forces or the Germans held the area they still had to control the flow of traffic.
