Luke could do a lot of stuff with just a keyboard. He is showing the other astronauts what he discovered about the face and he executes several programs and instructions by typing only. You can even at times see what he is typing and it is just random letters and numbers.
Do you think that the actor (whoever it is) could execute a program and speak a lot of memorized lines at once? Of course not! They probably just had the program timed to start at a certain time and run automatically.
