Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back - If He Can Get Out of the Handcuffs, Why Not the Carbonite?
I can't believe nobody mentioned this one before. At the scene where Han gets frozen in the carbonite, when he is lowered into the freezing chamber, his hands are handcuffed behind his back. However, when he comes back up frozen, his hands are in front of him with no handcuffs on. What the heck happened to the handcuffs??

THANK YOU!!! I have pointed that out many times (although his hands were tied in the front and not hand-cuffed in the back). But, I too was surprised no-one ever noticed the fact that they were untied in Return of the Jedi when Leia un-freezes him!!! Glad I'm not the only one that noticed that.

The handcuffs were removed just before he was lowered in to the freezing chamber.

Actually, if you watch, a Ugnaught comes in as Han is talking to Leia and unties his hands I think.

Before Han is frozen his wrist cuffs are taken off, but if you look closely you will see a second set of cuffs behind his back going from elbow to elbow. Witch is why only his hands are sticking up out of the carbonite. The slip-up is in "Jedi" when he is unfrozen the elbow cuffs are gone.

As a fan of the Star Wars movies for a long time I would have noticed but his hands were bound in front of Han and the binders were removed. However his arms were bound behind him and when he was thawed out in jedi the binders were gone.

Dolt - somebody did mention before. 6/29/2000 to be exact under the heading "Magic", 13 months before you. Read the whole board before submitting your insightful knowledge.
