In the group of scenes where the shuttle lands back on earth there are several shots where three helicopters can be seen flying by in formation. Problem is that not only do we see them fly by in the same place several times within only a matter of a few seconds, but they seem to be able to reverse direction instantaniously.
Example #1: Just after landing and coming to a complete stop, we see an exterior view of the shuttle from the right rear. In the same shot, we also see the three helicopters fly completely over the shuttle from front to back. Once they disappear out of the camera frame, the camera then cuts to a close up of the shuttle's main hatch as it's emergency escape slide deploys. The camera then cuts back to a full exterior view of the shuttle's right side rear, and mysteriously again we see the same three helicopters flying by exactly as they had done less than two seconds before.
Example #2: In the same group of scenes, the camera shows an elevated view from behind the emergency crews as they are walking down the runway toward the shuttle. And in that same view, we see three helicopters flying above the emergency crews in the same direction that the emergency crews are walking. The camera then cuts to an elevated view of the same emergency crews from the left side. Now, not only do we see the same three helicopters fly by once again, but they are flying in the opposite direction from which the were flying less than one second earlier. Now that's what I call a fast turnaround!
