At the very beginning of the movie, after C3PO and R2D2 land on Tattooine, they are standing in the desert together. Look at C3PO's chest, there is a large restraining bolt on it leaking oil. Watch the scene carefully. The bolt will switch from the right to the left side, and back again.
There' s no restraining bolt. it looks like there is one, but his chest is flat, and there are two (what appear to be) holes in his chest that leak oil.
