When Annie first arrives at Daddy Warbucks's house, there is a song/dance number. Near the middle to end of this, the cook throws a tray with glasses on it to the butler, who catches it.
However! The tray turns upside-down, and the glasses don't fall down and break.
Oh come on this isn't a slip-up! Musicals are CONSTANTLY full of scenes with waiters carrying trays where the bottles and plates are obviously attached in some way to the trays or platters. Musicals consist of lots of dance numbers, they're certainly not going to use trays where bottles could be falling everywhere and ruining the takes! Besides, haven't you ever seen that old, "pull the table-cloth out from under the bottles without moving them" trick? Just think of it as a similar phenomenon. I don't agree that this is a slip-up.
