Around the part when Piccolo says that they should get away from goku so he won't get distracted he flys away and then krillin takes off. Before he takes off he's wearing his Sayian Armour, but after he took off and they show him in the back ground, he's wearing his king kai's(orange outfit) then the next time they show him he's back in his sayain one.!! hehe :)
Isn't that orange outfit called a gi? or maybe I'm getting mixed up with something else... you can find screenshots of that slipup all over the place, it's hilarious how easily they forgot he changed.
Actually, you're wrong about both uniforms. Yes, it did look like Master Roshi's and King Kai's, however, when they showed Goku's symbol, it was neither Roshi's or King Kai's symbol..it was a completely different one.
