In the episode when Al chains himself to the field goal post in some sort of protest, the chain is eventually cut off at the end of the episode. When they show it being cut off, the chain is cut where it is attached to the pole. However, when you see the goal post in the background of a news report later in the show, the chain is hanging as if it were cut at Al's wrist. Since the chain was cut where it was attached to the pole, there should have been nothing hanging off of the pole in the background.
