Fast forward to the scene where Oscar and Felix are riding with the old man to San Molina. After the old man dies he falls onto the horn and Felix pushes him back against the seat. While Felix is pushing him back, the mans eyes open and then shut again. Ironicly this is when Oscar says "Check his pulse again".
