When Martin Lawrence (Miles) is walking into the briefing room while using the remote controlled car to locate the diamond, he is wearing a pair of virtual reality glasses and holding a remote control. When he realizes the room is full of officers and they turn on the lights, he's still looking through the glasses and holding the apparatus. When it changes views then zooms out, there is no longer any sign of a remote OR glasses.
