Starship Troopers - Miraculously Healing Hand
In one scene on the knife throwing range at boot camp, the drill sergeant throws a knife that pins Ace's right hand to the wall. In the very next scene, in the barracks, Ace is seen playing the violin with a perfectly normal right hand.

That might be a slipup, but there is a chance that it is not. The entire story takes place over about two years or so.

Yeah and they had those mad super fast aid machines that Rico was in that heal you quickly. Rico nearly died so was there for three days, Ace had a hole in his hand which would've healed (with that kinda technology) very quickly.

Rico had a leg almost ripped apart by a bug, and it was fixed in three days, so I guess it's not farfetched that a knife cut could be fixed in some hours.

Both of these comments are true. The scene where he plays the violin actually takes place long after the knife incident. Also, in the scene right before the violin, we see him in the shower with one of the green healing packs on his hand.

Okay. I figured this one out...WHOOT! Remember how, in the beginning-ish of the movie when the troopers tries to knock the sarge down and gets his arm broken? In the next scene when they're in the cafeteria, he has a metal forearm with a glass part with blue liquid in it where the break was. In the scene after that, his arm is fine. If you pay attention in the shower scene, you'll see that Ace places his hand on the handle-pully thing and it's the same metal-and-glass-blue-thing...but for his hand! What I've gathered is that this contraption is what the medics use to heal small wounds very quickly.

It's called "Medical Technology". 400 years from now. I can assure you that people in the 21st century living in 1st World countries heal much faster than 19th Century men living in the 1st world equivalent of that day.
