In the first scene if the movie, Billy is singing a song. As he is singing, he makes a smiley face with the sun screen. But, when he leaps out of the pool to get his porn magazines, the face is gone.
Also when he makes the smiley face a dribble goes down his side but when he starts to paddle over to his mates the dribble is gone.

I noticed that too. You never see him rub it in or anything, and I even looked for drops of water to see if it washed off... none.

The smiley face is in fact there when he jumps out of the pool. You will have to look very closely, but it is there. The only time it disappears is when he is looking at the magazines and when he is chasing the penguin.
