Little Mermaid (Disney) - Where's the Food?
In the dinner scene with Eric, Ariel and Grismby, keep your eye on Grimsby's plate. When Ariel first discovers Sebastian on his plate, Sebastian is surrounding by a heavy portion of food. After Sebastian runs across the table, Grismby looks to his plate again only to find no crab - and only three tiny pieces of lettuce!! Where did the rest of his meal go?!!!

If you watch closely when Sebastian runs across the table, he trails some of the stuff off of the plate with him, so in all truth it is scattered on the table.

What bothers me in this scene is why Ariel wasn't served a crab? Everybody else got their crabs but Ariel's meal included only lettuce (that of course was before Sebastian slipped in). Well, maybe Ariel is a vegetarian... still I think it's quite rude to serve only a tiny salad to a vegetarian guest. ;)

Btw THANK YOU for pointing out that vegetarians don't eat fish. Fish, biologically speaking, is an animal.

Guys, Arial could have tried to say something to Carlotta during the cooking scene with Louis. Like gave her a "eww face" or something. There is no way he could have taken all that food with him and left it in that little trail on the table. I don't think it can be counted as a slip-up. In fact if done on purpose it definitely can’t be counted as a slip-up. I think the artist did it on purpose to give it more of a dramatic affect. They show this big, full dinner, then once Sebastian has left, they show an empty plate. Don't you think it's a lot funnier that Grim stabbed his fork into an empty plate, instead of going to stab it into a crab, but stabbing it into some other piece of food? I think they did it on purpose to give it more of a dramatic affect and also because it just looks better and makes the scene more complete and funny.
