Several times during the movie, you can see the license plate of the car they drive being "Ecto 1" yet in the scene where they look for inspiration to crack the museum shell, the license plate reads "Ecto 1A"
You are half right on this slip up at the beginning of the movie yes it was ecto 1 then after they got back together after the court hearing then it was ECTO 1 A no before that point in the movie so sorry this is not a true slip up

I agree that this isn't a slipup. While I haven't watched the movie in a while, I do know that when the ectomobile got all the extra stuff added to it (after the busters got out of court and back to work), it was not the ecto-1A...this usually denotes a refit, which I'd say the car went through.
