Pearl Harbor - Sea Level?
After the bombing, and after the scene where the 2 male leads have donated blood into the coke bottles, Someone yelled that help was needed to rescue people still trapped in the hulls of the Boat.
OK, so Josh Harnett and Ben Affleck and some extras went on top of a hull of a half sunken boat and using a pneumatic drill, tried to drill through the metal hull. They succeed in making a small hole, enough for the arms of trapped sailors to appear through the hole.
Point is, they supposedly drowned when the water level rose up onto the level they were at. But!!!! Notice the sea level was like several meters underneath them? How did the water flood to ABOVE sea level??

It may seem odd, but that actually did happen on the USS Oklahoma, unlike alot of the scenes they did in the movie.

Actually it didn't happen. What happened was that when the ship capsized men were trapped in the areas that were above sea level, and couldn't be rescued . the way people knew they were there was that they would bang on the hull of the ship with a heavy metal wrench or something similar to be heard, however it was impossible to tell where in the ship the banging was coming from. Due to the large size of the ship and thickness of her hull the men were not rescued. I read an account of a sailor stationed at Pearl Harbor before and after the attack. He had to walk be the ship on his way to work every morning. He said that the banging just kept getting quieter and quieter until it stopped all together. Those men didn't drown, they slowly suffocated alone and in the dark. A much worse fate I'm sure you'll agree.

ok well that could have happened...the water seeked through doors and openings throughout the boat and went into the area where the men drowned. It is obviously logical.
