Little Mermaid (Disney) - What I Noticed in the First 15 Minutes
1. When Ariel catches Flounder through that circular thing on the sunken ship, and the shark gets stuck, he must die. It's scientific, but sharks die when they stop swimming.
2. When Ariel and Flounder go up to the surface to visit Scuttle, he is looking through a telescope backwards. He sees them really far away in the lens, but when the camera shows how close he is to them, they are just touching the rock. But then they go back to looking through the telescope and they are in the middle of the water.
3. When Ariel discovers she is late for the concert, the 2 evil eels that Ursula has are watching Ariel. (Ursula sees through their eyes.) And the yellow eyes are on the outside of them. The next time you see them together, they are in the same spot, but the yellow is on the inside. And Ursula yells at them, but she is in the cave and they are watching Ariel, so how do they hear her yelling?
4. When Ariel is singing "Part of Your World" and she swims up towards the top of her cave, there is a circular patch of light. It seems as if her face is inches away from the hole in the cave, but then they show the camera looking up towards the patch of light and she is meters and meters away.
I hope you all notice these!

You have obviously never looked through a telescope backwards.Cause you would know that when you do, whatever you're looking at looks VERY far away.

Check your facts my "scientific" friend--it's common to think sharks will die if they stop swimming, but that's not really true. Sharks need water to keep passing over their gills in order to keep extracting the oxygen from it. In reality they can be very still and still be fine, as long as the water keeps flowing through the gills.

I could be wrong, but doesn't Ursula have some special powers to help her talk to her eels?

Kendra, I'm sorry but that was not what she was pointing out. She meant that when they were touching the rock, through the telescope, she was surrounded by water.

Bob, what Kendra was pointing out is that they show how far Ariel appears to be, then where they really are. Then they show them through the telescope again to emphasize the fact that Scuttle thinks they're farther than they really are.
