Andrew writes:: in the episode of the simpsons entitled Citizen Kang from one of the Halloween episodes, Homer is fishing in his boat when a space ship comes and takes him away. When the rod picks him up the first time (by his head) he is actually DROPPED back into the water when he is picked by his head. He is then picked up by his SHIRT and carried into the ship.
