Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - Inflatable Lollipop
In the scene where Augustus falls into the chocolate river, Charlie hands him a large lollipop to float on. When Augustus is grabbing the lollipop, it moves and bends, so it's obviously inflatable.
Of course it's going to be a balloon! They couldn't of used a real one. It's just the movies.

Its obviously plastic from its shape and the sound it makes as Augustus tries to grab it... come on, I figured that one out when I was 5!

I always thought that the inflatable lollipop was supposed to be fake. That room is basically a world where what is real becomes fake and vice versa. "A world where all of my dreams became reality. And some of my realities became dreams" At least I think that's the quote!

You can also tell it is a balloon because of the fact that when he grabs it, his hands slip. Had it been real, his hands would have stuck to it.

Obviously it is a balloon. They would not spend the time or money to make that type of a lollipop. Plus I don't think a real one would float. It is just a prop!

The lollipop is a balloon for a reason. If you read the book, you would know that balloon lollipops are an invention of Willy Wonka. He made them so that you can pop them when you want to eat them. This wasn't a mistake in the movie.
