101 Dalmations (Cartoon Version) - Let's Go for a Swim
In the scene where Pongo and Perdita's owners just meet in the park....they fall into the pond. It shows Pongo sitting in the water. He even picks up his master's hat. Then it cuts to Perdita sitting on the bank. Well, when they all come out of the pond, it is Perdita who comes out and Pongo who is sitting on the bank. This has bugged me for years!
You are sooooo wrong! OK, first as they are about to fall, Percy grabs her masters dress to prevent her from falling. After Percy's master falls, Pongo (who is in the water also, and Percy is on the bank) grabs the girls hat and then they cut off to the two people getting out giving Pongo a chance to get out and Percy and chance to swim over on the bank where Pongo is just so Pongo will notice her.
I found a slip-up on slipups.com! In the Slip-Up Roger's Hat it says that Roger comes out of the water with a dripping wet hat on his head, and in Let's Go For a Swim, it says that the dalmation carries it out.
When Pongo is in the water, he picks up the lady's hat, not his owner's. Also, when the girl dog comes out of the pond instead of Pongo, she is still carrying that piece of fabric from her owner's skirt. And when Pongo comes up from the water, he has no leash on and he had a leash on. If you want to add that. And when Pongo starts to drag his owner to the lady to tangle them up, they go past his hat on the bench, but then somehow in the next scene, he has it on again and is in the pond, like you said.
