When Derek is getting arrested, the cop puts his right arm around Derek's body to pull him up. However, from the long shot, the cop has his left arm around Derek, then on the close up again he has his right arm around him.
That's not a slip-up!! It's supposed to be like that. That's because you see Derek first, and than Danny. He's taking by a cop too because he's not supposed to see his brother getting arrested... You should take a better look next time ;)
Actually Marleen, this slip-up is very much accurate. But since you seem to be confused by it, I'll tell you exactly how the scene occurs (sequentially) so you can follow it next time.
Dereck is on his knees, the cops walk up behind him...one cop begins to walk towards Danny as the scene switches to another shot of Danny's blank, shocked face. Back to Dereck: a shot from his torso up, cop behind him.
Okay, now the cop places HIS left hand (our right) on Dereck's left forearm. Back to a shot of Danny's face. Then we see the cop has both hands on both of Dereck's forearms. The cop pulls Dereck's left arm behind his back, then his right. Back to a shot of Danny's face: the shadow of the other cop moves across the shot as he begins to pick Danny up. Back to a torso shot of Dereck. NOW, HERE'S WHERE THE SLIP-UP COMES IN:
1. The cop begins to pick Dereck up by wrapping HIS right arm around him. Covering the swastika tatoo with his right hand as it happens.
2. Immediately as the cop starts to lift Derreck the scene intertwines with Danny also be lifted by the other cop. Watch as Danny's head clears the shot, you WILL see that the first cop is now lifting Derreck with his LEFT arm wrapped around.
3. Quickly the scene will switch back to just Dereck and the cop and you will see again, that it is the cop's right arm (rigth hand covering the tatoo) that is grabbing Dereck.
So...maybe next time...YOU'LL pay closer attention, huh?
