In the scene where they (deliverer and Adam Sandler) are teaching Julian about Ben Franklin. The kangaroo song comes on and Julian is on the bed in the back of the house jumping then all of a sudden he is on the couch.
How is it a time lapse??? The song kept right on going.

The scene is showing the time drag on while the delivery guy watches Julian. I think the song just keeps going to emphasize how much they actually listened to it.
