Langoliers, The (TV Movie) - LA Is Not Completely Deserted!
The screenplay of the TV movie The Langoliers was written by Stephen King and is based on one of his books. Near the end of the movie when they fly back through the time rift into the present they look out a window of the plane only to find that the world is deserted in the present as well. But not completely! When they show the aerial view of LA, the people on the plane say things like "Its completely deserted!" and "There's nobody down there!" but you can see a white van or truck driving on one of the roads. Its very small so you have to look closely but it is there and you can tell it is moving. This was a pretty stupid mistake!!!

First off, it's called a time RIP. Secondly, if that's the only mistake in the movie then it's not a stupid one.....think about it.

Hey, cut them a little slack, huh? Trying to get such a wide shot of a busy city with absolutely nobody in it? They did a pretty good job only getting one van way down in the corner, 'f'y'ask me.

More probable; they forgot the car when they re-touched the shots they took from LA ;-)
