In the opening of every Ed episode, Ed drives through town. In one scene after driving through the park, driving past the Stuckeyville sign, there is a shot of Ed's car taking a turn around a corner in semi-empty main street. If you look on the top of the screen, off in the distance you can see the flickering of sirens... these sirens are the police cars blocking everyday traffic off from using the street.
