In the big crew race look very closely at the nose of the #3 boat. Keep a close eye on it and for a quick second when they zoom in on the boats, you can see a camera mans' head sticking out of the end of the boat.
That guy in the back of the boat is a coxy. He's supposed to be there. He's a part of the rowing crew. In some variations of rowing shells there are "bow riders" which means the coxy lies down there.
