After the princess is kid-napped and Fezzik is climbing the Cliffs of Insanity, he climbs at a different speed when you watch the close-up view and the far-away view.
Very good, this always bothered my, also, Westley seems to climb faster than later when he must be pulled up by Inigo, but that just may be because he was supposed to be tired.
If you watch the extra features, you find out that a double was hired to carry to actors up to cliffs in the wide shots, due to Andre the Giant's really bad back.
