About 20 minutes into the movie, when we see Jake talking to his friend in the gym, while they are doing pull-ups...the camera slowly backs up to show that their feet are actually on the floor, when the camera stops backing up, you can see the tracks on the bottom of the screen in which the camera moves on..
I don't think it was intended to be like that, if it was a parody,then yes, that would explain it, but all I saw were camera tracks in the shot, and I doubt they were supposed to be there.
I never saw the tracks before. Thanks. I don't think they did it to be funny. Hughes wanted to be funny with the movie, but he also wanted to be realistic as well. I don't think he would do that on purpose. They probably realized their error, but didn't have the money to re-shoot.
