Charlie's Angels - What Is "Editing"?

I cant believe i actually caught this one. When you're going through the beginning as "Charlie" talks about each girl, Cameron Diaz is shown on Jeapordy. There are two different angles in which she is shown...If you look at her score, it's actually different in both angles. I can't believe they did that, and HOW would they?

The first score they show is $118,599 as Alex Trebek states that the score is her 5 day champ total, and as they cut to the next shot the score is $24,400. This is not a mistake. If you watch Jeopardy at all, then you'll know that they do this all the time where they have on the screen the total of all the days the player participated in.
