When Andy leaves the prison through the sewer, we see him carrying his fairly small bag. But the next morning we see his flawless suit.

The suit would have been at least wrinkled, not to mention smelling of sewer.

Prior to working in the library, you might recall Andy worked in the Laundry. After god knows how long in a prison laundry, I'm sure you could become quite the expert at folding laundry.
