Look at Evil Ash when he is beating Ash up. His hair is the same length as Ash's. Now look at him when he is the nasty-looking Deadite. His hair grew about a foot. Weird.
Corpses' hair doesn't keep growing, nor the nails grow, the body loses water and shrinks, while the nails and hair stay the same, but become more revealed. PWNT.
