Towards the end of the movie Boyle (James Woods) is pulled off the bus by the Border Patrol, laid face down on the hood of the patrol car as he is handcuffed. Look over his shoulder, the lights on the patrol car are not functioning and the light bar itself seems to be attached with bailing wire!

Not much budget in the Border Patrol!
