After the Dude gets his car back from the police impound he is unable to open the drivers side door to get in. Then later after the doctors office visit he is driving home and he drops his 'cigarette' and pours his beverage on his lap and then he crashes the car. Again the Dude is unable to open the drivers side door. Okay here is the slip-up. When they go to Little Larry's house and pull up in the front the Dude is now able to open the drivers side door. Big Slip-up since we know that the Dude is lazy so it is too unlikely that he got his door fixed sometime during the day. Look at condition of the rest of the car.
