On the show, All That, All That Tunes Into TV, on the spoof off of Star Trek, there is a slipup. The Evil Kruton says, I will use my telepathic powers to stop tour engines cold.

According to the Webster's Dictionary:

Telepathy: supposed communication between minds by some means other than the normal sensory channels

Telekinesis: the apparent initiation of movement in an object, as by a medium in spiritualism, without perceptible mechanical or other means

I still like my definitions better, but we all have our opinions:

Telepathy: You talk to people with your mind

Telekinesis: You move stuff with your mind
