When Dorothy and the Scarecrow first meet, and he is still on the pole, the length of the pole grows from about two feet above his head on the far away shots to right behind his hat on the close up shots.
Good eye. I'd also like to add that in most of the sequences in the scarecrow scene, his mouth isn't moving to the words (not in the song, in his dialougue).
