Just before Dorothy gets hit in the head by the window in tornado scene when she is holding Toto, she holds him so tightly that he lets out a little yelp.
OK, imagine you're a tiny little dog. Suddenly there's a huge tornado. What do you do? Dance the Conga? Of course you're going to yelp, the poor little thing's scared!
This is true! I laugh everytime I see it. And the dog does NOT yelp because he's frightened of the twister, it yelps because Dorothy is using the poor thing as a stress ball! I can't really blame the dog for whining since Dorothy is like strangling him, but it still is pretty funny.
