Near the end of the movie, Trudy goes to Mrs. Tingles house to complain about her grade. She is shot with the arrow, but she does not die. (She was supposed to in the original script)

If you look really close at the beginning of the graduation scene at the very end, you could see a board on the right hand side of the stage that has her picture on it that says something like "In Memory Of"
