Matrix, The - Where Did the Window Washers Go?
When Neo is being dressed down by his boss, you see the window washers on the platform outside the window.
Later, Neo is trying to escape on to the window washers' platform by climbing out the window, but he fails because the opening window is nowhere near the platform. So, how did the window washers get off the platform?

Of course, the cool thing is, the magic window washers are played by the makers of the film, the Wachowski brothers!

The window he goes through isn't the only window. The washers probably went inside using a closer window.

There may have been several scaffoldings on the building, maybe one for each side.

window washers start from the roof... they do not climb out windows... the most unbelieveable thing about it is that the window open on a high rise building... I've never been in one modern building where you even have that option

They are a sub-routine, timed to run every once in a while so the people outside won't get suspicious. Everyone in the building thinks somebody else is in charge of the washers so the people don't care. The gondola Neo is told to jump to is not the one that the washers were on... The window washers are already a couple floors down. If you look closely the gondola that he sees is to the foward-left of the boss's desk. The window washers were directly BEHIND the desk, thus being a different scaffoling. (The explanation that is the most understandable) A BUG! There are no slip-ups they're all created by the ship's crew or by the agents

Maybe they diluted themselves in the wash water. Maybe it was a reflection of Neo's conscience telling him to clean up his act. Maybe not.

When Neo looks toward the scaffold it looks like he is even with the rigging. If it is the kind of scaffold that has the rigging above then the washers are on the platform one floor below.

I think Morpheus killed them... considering the scaffolding was needed there, they were offed, just like his boss. And considering how even one person can become an agent, they were killed so Neo could have a safe way out.

Prehaps the window washers elephant caught on fire so they had to beat the flames out with a rusty hacksaw?

They went to chase the large flying purple bunny which was later tragically killed while licking a live power socket. This left Barry and Larry feeling very lonely and sad...

Or maybe that wasn't the boss's office? Is there anything saying that they are the same? (maybe there is, I'm speaking from memory)

Maybe they are really stupid window washers and wash from the bottom up and are above him. Seriously though, they could either be against the wall, or they could have finished already(they don't say how long Neo has been sitting at the computer).

It is more likely, Sammo, that the orange bisexual caterpillar drank all of Tom's vodka, thus removing any mind and/or body altering substances. You need to get your story straight before you go blaming poor innocent bunnies.

Ok it is quite obvious that it is not the same office as the Boss'. His desk was against a wall on the left of the screen and his back towards a window. there was no desk in that place in this office. Neo opened the window with a wall on the left side of the screen remember?

They simply went in through the open window. That is why it was open in the first place.

These guys are probably union, and took their designated fifteen minute break after five minutes of work. Now for the real question. How in the BLUE HELL can you get scaffolding up that high? Damn, if you could make scaffolding sturdy enough to go up 50 stories, why not make the entire building out of the stuff? Those matrix robots sure are crazy....kinda like good time Charlie. You remember good time Charlie, don't you? He walked like this. *Limps for a few steps before taking off in a full sprint* WOO!
