Blair Witch Project - Whats on the Roof of the Car.
To find this slip-up you need to go to the scene when the gang park their car for the last time at the edge of the woods.
As they walk away from the car you can see that somthing has been left on the roof of the car.
It looks to me like a bottle.
I know the film is fiction, but on the official site on the evidence photo's of Josh's car this object does not appear.
Please somebody tell me what this is.
I have only seen the film at the cinema once because the film is not out on video in the UK yet.

Its nuthin major, it could have been blown off by the wind, after they left, or been hit buy a falling branch, or taken away by a squirrel, or been slipped off by some afternoon showers, or been knocked off by a flying bird, or if ur really lucky, It could have been taken away for examination by a UFO...

blair witch is now on vidio in the uk, since yesteday, because i rented it. Josh was lovely. but, to stick to the point, surely this is a question, not a statement detailing a movie slipup. perhaps im being pedantic, but these things should be phrased in the relevant manner. what wat that bottle, anyway?

Matt is right. The so called "thing" on the roof is a water bottle. I didn't know what kind it was cause I didn't pay THAT much attention but I knew it was a water bottle. I am 100% sure!

On the DVD commentary, the directors admit to this screw-up.

I think it was big foot who removed the bottle. He got thirsty and needed a drink. And for those that wonder how did he know how to open it. He's been smart enough to elude all those researchers for so long, only to be caught on a blurry image a couple times I think he could figure out how to get a bottle of water open.
