Blair Witch Project - Headstone Date

In the first part of the movie when they get to Burketsville, and they are in the graveyard. She states something along the lines of that there were a lot deaths of the young children around the 1940's. Yet the gravestone that they show is one that says the infant died in 1907.

(Correct me if I'm mistaken, I haven't really seen the movie myself, I'm just going by logic here.
