The new 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse commercial features one of the new cars full of kids listening to techno music at the gas station. The new Eclipses have that external gas cap thing on the passenger side of the car (opposite side of driver). In the commercial, the car is parked at the gas pumps with the driver side pulled up to get gas. That's impossible!
First off, this is a commercial. Why is it in the Movie section, second, do you really need to explain the passengers side is opposite the driver's side?? Most people already know....
Actually, it's not IMPOSSIBLE. It happens to me all the time when I'm driving a car that is designed so poorly as to have the gas cap on the passenger side when most cars have it on the driver side. Perhaps because of time constraints they had to cut the scene where the driver gets pissed about having pulled up on the wrong side and throws a tantrum to the beat of the techno music.
