Near the end of the movie, when Edger went to the morgue (to get the cat), the camera shows Laura's feet. She's wearing sandles. Later when Laura and Edger get into the cab, the camera shoots her feet on the gas peddel and she's wearing boots! Pick one!
This is not a slip up, if you will use the frame by frame feature on your VCR you will see that the boot is actually Edgar's left boot pressing down on the accelerator and not laura's foot.
