Many wonder why the first season showed the location of the building during the opening, but is not shown afterwards(The Facts of Life showed Eastland Academy in its opening, so why not Diff'rent Strokes?) What happened was that the apartment building shown did not have that penthouse apartment, and they did not get permission for showing the building.
